Love-ly Balloon

Hello again everyone!

This card is another creation I made for my Lots of Love stamp-a-stack.  It features a cute 3D hot air balloon made from the Full Heart punch.  When I was teaching elementary school, we would make all kinds of these heart to hang in our classroom and they were my inspiration for this card.

To create the balloon, punch 3 or 4 hearts (depending on the look you want) and fold them all in half.  Then adhere half of the heart to half of the next heart, lining up the fold lines.  Continue until you have them all adhered together.  Then you can stick the back of it to your card.  The sky was done using the new Cloudy Day Embossing folder and it is absolutely ADORABLE!!  The stamps set is Up, Up & Away from the main catalogue.  The basket was punched with the versatile Cupcake Builder punch.

Stop by again soon!

  1. Kari-Lynn what a cute Valentine card. I like how you incorporated the heart punches for the balloon. Another great way to show customers the versatility of stamps and thinking out of the box. Thanks so much! PS you have a cute blog.
