This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend one of Stampin' Up!'s Regional Events in Calgary, Alberta. It was a great time! We got to take in presentations, do some make'n'takes (which I will share this week), swap cards, meet new friends and share business ideas.
A tradition in attending events is to create little gifts for your roommates and travel buddies who go with you. This year I made cute bag tags from our new pop tops from the Spring Catalogue. I just LOVE THESE pop tops! These are the ones I made for my Regional roommates and team who attended the event with me.
To create these tags,
- I stamped the inserts with the Collage Curios stamp set and a retired alphabet set
- heat embossed them with clear embossing powder
- punched them out with a 1" circle punch
- then I flattened the pop tops in my big shot
- glue the inserts inside
- fill them with a very thick layer of Crystal Effects and let them dry for 24 hours
- the last thing I did was punched a hole with the crop-a-dile and added the jump ring and clasp
Aren't these fun? They are super easy and make a great gift!
