My Monthly Planner with My Digital Studio

Today I want to share a project I created in the summer using My Digital Studio.  When I was teaching school, I relied on a daily planner to keep myself organized, well planned, and on track.  I decided to create one for myself for my Stampin' Up! business as I seem to have lots on the go (and my mommy brain is more forgetful than it used to be!)

I started by using the "Up to Date Planner" download which is full of lists, calendars, boxes, etc.  It was perfect to create my planner!
I used some of the templates from that download for some pages, and just components of it to create some of my own.

Here is my cover:
This is my back cover.  It features Stampin' Up!'s Statement of the Heart (a mission statement I love) and it is also a download.
For each month, I have a calendar and "to do" lists that correspond with that month.  There is a space for birthdays, goals, projects, and notes.

In each month I have class sign up lists, social media lists, and even pages for sketches for using while I design each month's classes.

For each week in the month, I have a week plan where I make my daily "to do" lists.

I also have included pages with important dates, my goals and results, mileage and expenses, and even an incentive trip tracker.
When I had finished designing it, I had it printed and coil bound (with a plastic cover and back page).
I am thrilled with how it all turned out and definitely rely on it daily!  My Digital Studio helps me with so much more than just scrapbooks.  If you don't have it yet, you need to get it!  It is so much fun to use on so many projects!  I hope you enjoyed today's project!

Go Riders! Easy Digital scrap page

Happy Monday everyone!

Over the summer, I created tons of scrapbook pages using My Digital Studio.  This was a quick and easy one of my son when he was about 18 months old.

I love using the "match color" button so I could get my Stamp (Touchdown) ad journaling to be that "Rider Green" I needed.  It is definitely a great tool!  I used a few overlays on this layout, changed them to white, and lightened the opacity to give a bit of chalkboard effect.  I love MDS for getting some pages completed quickly.

MDS Monday and a great SALE!

Have I told you lately how much I love Stampin' Up!'s MY DIGITAL STUDIO program (MDS)?  It is amazing!!

I am an avid scrapbooker and have been for about 15 years.  I don't know about you but I never feel like I am caught up!  I absolutely love to create pages the traditional way with paper, dies, stamps, accessories, memorabilia and pictures but I find it difficult to find enough time to scrap it all!  This is where I turn to My Digital Studio!  I can take a sketch, recreate it in MDS, and then all I have to do is drop in my pictures, change the colors, add my embellishments and journaling and I am done a page!  It is so quick and I am catching up on lots of pages I wasn't sure I would ever get done!

Once you have the program, you never loose your content so you have an endless supply of papers, stamps, punches, and embellishments!

I create all kinds of other projects in MDS as well.  I did a digital photo book of our trip to Hawaii, I made an Alphabet Swatch book for my daughter, I make personalized calendars, birthday invitations, cards, and much more!

I am going to start sharing some of these creations on Mondays for MDS Mondays.  I will share tips, tricks, and creations to help you with your digital creations.

Here is today's MDS page from my personal calendar:

This page was easy to create with an 8 1/2x 11 template that is included in the program.  I simply added a square punch, some circles on the tag with some ribbon and my pictures (that I changed to sepia in the program).  I love that you can create pages so quickly with pre-designed templates and you can take a moment to tweak them and make them your own!

Love One Another

With Valentine's day comng up, I thought I would share my MDS calendar page for February.  These are my 2 monkeys last winter giving each other so many hugs that they fell down!  I need to enjoy this while it lasts because before long they won't be sharing hugs like that! (sniff!)

This page was really quick to put together with a few heart punches and paper fill options with designer paper.

A My Digital Studio (MDS) Page to Share!

Welcome Back!

Today I would like to share a page I created for my family calendar.  I created it using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio Program.  If you haven't heard of it, you need to!  It is an amazind digital designing program.  It is super fun and easy to create photo books, cards, swatch books, calendars, tags, invitations and soooo much more!

This is an 8 1/2x11 size calendar page that I designed.   It uses some of my favorite content including digital tape and the downtown grunge embellishments.  I hope you like it!

If you are interested in learning more about MDS, please watch out for a beginner MDS Monday class beginning in January.

Happy creating!
